Neck Pain

Neck pain is the common problem faced by us. It is difficult to determine the cause of neck pain. Although the cause of neck pain is not understood well, outcome studies have shown that it can be a long-term problem. Neck is the flexible part of our body. I used to suffer a lot from neck pain. I used some steps to overcome the neck pain. Neck pain is very common in patients who are involved in stressful jobs and an effort should be made to reduce the stress by suggesting various relaxation techniques. A computer operator will get neck pain, if the monitor in front of him is at such a height that he has to keep his neck extended all the time. Exercises are most beneficial when started after the acute pain has subsided. We can prevent this neck pain by following these instructions. I maintained good position that should not give any pain for neck. I avoided sleeping on my tummy. I avoided reading books while traveling and in bed. I followed routine exercise every day. I used to watch television and computer at my eye level. I used soft pillow, because using thick pillow may cause neck pain
